A series of illustrations that depict women in harmony with nature. Ideas of ecofeminism are weaved throughout and provide the basis on which I developed this concept. Each piece is painted using gouache, acrylic and natural pigments I have extracted from common plants and vegetables. This is an extension of my book and field journal An Exploration of Natural Pigments. I used philosophies and experiments explored in the book and applied them to my artistic practice. I used each pigment I developed and successfully integrated it into my paintings.
