A children's book I illustrated and designed. I was commissioned by Brian Lowinger to illustrate his children's book story about a young bunny who saves the day with the many trousers he owns. I wanted to capture the playful absurdness of the story using whimsical colors that still appealed to children as well as their parents. Each page went through numerous revisions and storyboarding before the author, art director and myself were satisfied. Each narrative section has a different tone and atmosphere which required a cohesive yet distinct color palettes, backgrounds and compositions. This enabled the illustrations to amplify the spirit of the story to create an exciting and playful children's book.
These were the initial character sketches and storyboards that ultimately would be selected by the author and art director as pivotal illustrations in the book.
